Fishing begins at 10:00 AM
REGISTRATION NECESSARY BEFORE FISHING
MUST HAVE A LIFE JACKET
MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
ONLY THE FIRST 100 ARE GUARANTEED A GOODIE BAG WITH A TREAT COUPON.
Bring your own fishing pole. We have a limited number of poles to use.
We will furnish worms.
All fish must be alive when measured.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Welcome to our FREE FISHING CONTEST! Our primary goal is to ensure everyone has a great time, and we expect all participants to embrace the spirit of friendly competition.
This is a catch and release contest for Perch, Bluegill and Crappie.
Please review the following rules and registration details for our contest. Don’t forget to complete the registration form.
ELIGIBILITY: Every child must be accompanied by an adult. (Maximum 3 children per parent or guardian), must wear a life jacket, and follow all Wisconsin fishing regulations.
REGISTRATION: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM day of contest at Memorial Park.
FISHING TIMES & PLACE: 10:00 AM to 1 PM at Memorial Park.
AGE GROUP: For children in age groups of – 5 and under, 6–9 and 10–12.
3 Prizes in each age group.
ENTRY FEE: NONE due to the generosity of sponsors.
WEATHER POLICY: Rainy or inclement weather constitutes a fishing day. In case of unsafe conditions, the contest committee may decide to cancel and will not reschedule to a later date. (We are purposely coordinating this with the State of Wisconsin’s Free Fishing Weekend to avoid need for license.)
BAIT: Worms only. NO other LIVE BAIT.
HOW TO WIN: The largest fish wins. Bring your LIVE fish to the measuring station for measuring by an attendant. That person will measure your fish from the head’s front to the tail’s farthest point. All fish must be alive. Only acceptable fish are Perch, Bluegill or Crappie only.
TIEBREAKER: In case of a tie, the first angler who turns in their fish for measuring will be declared the winner.
MEASURING DEVICES: Only official measuring devices will be used.
LAWN CHAIRS: Bring your own.
THERE WILL BE TICKETS GIVEN AT REGISTRATION FOR A GRAND PRIZE DRAWING. Drawing at 1:00 PM. Must be present to win.
